Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re new to chiropractic or to our practice, you might be wondering what you can expect. Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions we’re asked.

What is Chiropractic?

Your body is a self-healing, self-regulating organism. Every cell, tissue, organ and system in your body is coordinated by the brain and body. This communication happens through your nervous system. Your nervous system is protected by your spine. Tension and stress in your nerve system, then, can happen through the spine.

A chiropractor seeks to correct areas of stress in the spine that will allow your nerve system to work optimally. In turn, you may heal and have health restored.

How frequently will I be seen?

There are several factors that determine how often you’ll have appointments. These include how long you’ve had your problem, your health history and any trauma you’ve had. After an assessment, we’ll be able to tell you how frequently you should come in.

Does the adjustment hurt?

Absolutely not, chiropractic is very gentle and may help you feel, move and function better. We understand some people prefer more gentle adjustments and might not be used to a neck adjustment therefore Dr Ray Saberi is an “all-rounder” when it comes to technique. That means he has studied a multitude of adjusting methods all over the world to provide you with our recommended and most comfortable treatment.
